Scheduled Viewings
Viewings will be arranged with the landlord for times that suit both you as the client and the landlord. Some apartments may be occupied with a current tenant, their schedule is also taken into account to the best suit viewings. Once you book a viewing and for unexpected reasons you are no longer able to make this appointment, your notice of cancellation is appreciated, however we do understand at times this is unavoidable.
Make an Offer
Once we have found a suitable apartment according to your wishes, you are welcome to make an offer. The required documents for this procedure are:
- Work Contract
- Identification, i.e. Passport or Drivers Licence
Photo copies of these items are acceptable by hard copy or email.
Intermediar Agreement
Once your offer has been received by the Owner/Landlord and accepted, you will then be invited to the office to meet the Owner/Landlord and begin the process of legalities. Ensure you read the Intermediar Agreement and understand it before signing it.
In order to reserve a property you must transfer a down payment of 250 euro. You can cancel your reservation within 48 hours free of charge. After 48 hours Dutch Expat Consult will charge you 50 euro.
Signing of Tenancy Agreement
Tenants must have read and understood the tenancy agreement from the landlord before signing. Tenancy Agreement should be signed by all parties,
Payment and Tenancy commencement
Before getting the keys of the apartment, rent, deposit and invoice of Dutch Expat Consult must have been paid. Sometimes a landlord wants to have the funds on his account, sometimes a screenshot of the payments will do to get the keys.
Move in day
Dutch Expat Consult will assist you during the check-in on the moving in date to inspect the apartment and conduct the meter readings. Dutch Expat Consult will connect you to Gas, Electricity, Heating and Water companies. We can also assist in arranging TV and Internet connection if desired.
